Swimming Pool Rules

Anyone using the swimming pool is required to comply with the rules at all times.

  • Please note that the swimming pool is unsupervised at all times.

  • Use of the swimming pool and Hotel facilities is at your risk.

  • You must not use the pool if you are feeling unwell.

  • Diving is strictly prohibited in the swimming pool.

  • Please refrain from running around the swimming pool area.

  • Life-saving equipment is restricted to emergency use only.

  • Please follow the Hotel's emergency plan, or any reasonable instruction from an authorised Hotel representative, in the event of an emergency.

  • No glass, food or alcohol may be brought into the swimming pool area.

  • Access control may apply during peak periods.

  • No large inflatable toys, masks, snorkels, flippers or beach balls may be used in the swimming pool.

  • Children under 16 years must be accompanied by a competent adult swimmer when using the swimming pool.

  • Children under the age of 8 years must be accompanied by an adult, at all times, while using the changing room facilities.

  • Maximum ratio of two children aged 4-8 years per adult. Maximum ratio of one child aged under 4 years per adult.

  • Towels are not provided by the Hotel.

  • No outdoor footwear is permitted in the swimming area.

  • Please notify the Hotel management of any medical conditions that the Hotel may need to be aware of during your use of the facilities.

  • All health, safety and security notifications must be strictly adhered to when using the Hotel facilities.

  • In the event of an accident or incident, you must inform a member of the Hotel team immediately.

  • Please use the shower facilities prior to the use of the swimming pool.

  • Please be considerate of other members, and conduct yourself in an appropriate manner when using the facilities.

  • Abusive, threatening and violent behaviour towards other members and Hotel staff will not be tolerated.

  • Any personal items found in the changing rooms and lockers after hours will be removed by the Hotel staff and kept in safe storage for up to 4 may be appropriate. For hygiene reasons, items such as underwear, hairbrushes, etc will be immediately disposed of.
