Take Your Pup For A Walk: Pet-Friendly Paths in Devon

Devon boasts a multitude of fantastic pet-friendly walks for you and your furry friend to explore. From idyllic moorland trails to clifftop paths, our guide will help you discover the perfect route for an enjoyable and safe walk with your pet.

Ness Cove beach, Shaldon

Just a short drive from the hotel, you will find Ness Cove beach in Shaldon. It is a hidden gem and one of our favourite spots. You can access the beach via steps through a smuggler’s tunnel, which makes the visit even more fun. The views and secludedness are extra special. Dogs are welcome any time of the year and you don’t need to worry about them running off as the beach is enclosed.

There is parking nearby and a small shop, but no amenities on the beach. Make sure to bring plenty of poo bags as there are no bins by the beach.
