We welcome well-behaved dogs, and know what it takes to make your four-legged friends feel right at home. The Cliffden, and its sister hotel in the Lake District, Windermere Manor) are uniquely equipped to cater for dogs, having welcomed many Guide Dogs during our time under the management of Action for Blind People and we continue to do so today.
Your prized pooch is welcome to share your guestroom at our Devon hotel near Dawlish, and we can supply dog beds, fleeces and water bowls on request.
Dogs stay for FREE, if you book directly on our website. A pet charge of £10.00 per dog per night applies, if you book via any 3rd pary website and we kindly ask that your dogs aren’t left unattended in their rooms.
There’s plenty of space to stretch their legs in our fenced free-run area, or they can join you on the leash while you wander through our seven acres of garden. Pop through the garden gate and you’ll be on Teignmouth’s gorgeous beach in minutes.
Splashing around in the sea can be a messy business, so we’ve got a dedicated dog grooming room to get them back to looking their glossy best.
We even have dedicated spaces to ‘spend a penny’. There’s a grassy area which can be used during the day or a concrete spending area for late nights.
